What is the Aragon Excellence Fund? Is it the only fundraiser at Aragon?
The Aragon Excellence Fund is a fundraiser of Aragon High School PTSO, a tax-exempt, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Aragon Excellence Fund is the only academic fundraiser at Aragon High School. It dramatically enriches EVERY student’s academic experience and contributes to their academic success. Other parent groups at the school fundraise to support specific activities, like drama. However, only the Aragon Excellence Fund benefits EVERY Aragon student.
How much money should I give to AEF?
Our suggested donation is $950 per student, but any amount is welcome and greatly appreciated. Every gift counts. It all adds up! Some donors make a single donation, while others use our custom installment options to fit their budget.
Do you accept company matching funds?
Yes. Please use the search on the AEF page to check whether your company offers donation matches. If your company manages donation matching through a CSR portal such as Benevity.org or YourCause.com, please donate through that portal using Aragon High School PTSO's EIN:26-0186824 so the corporate matching can happen automatically. If you donate through the AEF page, please remember to request corporate matching for your donation. To complete your employer’s matching donation form, please use the following information:

What if we can’t give as much now but can give more later?
When you donate, you can make a single payment or create a custom installment plan and spread your donation into easy monthly payments. Please view the AEF page for all the payment options.
How does the PTSO fundraise, and what do they fund?
The PTSO is our Parent, Teacher, and Student Organization. Aragon Excellence Fund is a program of the Aragon High School PTSO. The PTSO raises money through membership dues, eScrip, and at events like the International Food Fair. The PTSO uses its funds to award Student Scholarships and Staff Appreciation activities. Your AEF donation includes a PTSO Family Membership.
What about the Boosters (Athletic, Music, and Drama) and parent groups (Asian, Latino)? Will we still have to donate to them?
Various Boosters and parent groups will request your $5 to $150 support. In exchange for your contribution, you may receive game passes, performance tickets, special parent/student lectures, etc. We hope you will consider supporting these special interest groups, as they provide invaluable experiences for students and parents.
